The short version. I collect what you send through a form, plus basic analytics if enabled. I use it to answer you and provide the services you ask for. I never sell your personal information.
Who this covers
This policy applies to amyherrerare.com, including its Spanish-language pages. The site belongs to Amy Herrera, a Texas Real Estate Sales Agent (TREC #808068), brokered by RE/MAX Elite (Sharyland Real Estate LLC, TREC #9007399). "I", "me" and "my" refer to Amy Herrera.
Information I collect
What you send me
When you submit a form, I receive what you enter: usually your name, email, phone number if provided, and your message, plus details such as a city, timeline or price range.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, or identity or immigration documents through website forms. If a transaction requires them, exchange them securely with your lender or title company.
What is collected automatically
A form submission also records the page you sent it from and any campaign tags in your link (for example, utm_source).
If analytics are enabled, standard technical data may be collected, such as browser and device type, approximate location from your IP address, pages viewed and the referring site, reviewed in aggregate. The site's host keeps routine server logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and reliability.
How I use information
- To respond to your inquiry and schedule a call
- To provide the services you request, such as representation, investment analysis or market information
- To follow up on your request (ask me to stop at any time)
- To keep records required of Texas license holders and their brokerage
- To protect the site from spam, fraud and abuse
- To improve this website
How information is shared
I do not sell or rent your personal information, or share it for anyone else's marketing. I share it only:
- With my sponsoring brokerage. RE/MAX Elite (Sharyland Real Estate LLC) supervises my real estate activity and may receive inquiry and transaction records.
- With service providers. Companies that process forms, host this site, deliver email or provide analytics, only to perform those services.
- For your transaction. What is needed goes to lenders, title companies, inspectors and other agents, at your direction.
- For legal reasons. When required by law, legal process or a regulator, or to protect the rights, property or safety of you, me or others.
Cookies
This site does not need cookies to work. If analytics are enabled, they may use cookies to count visits. Block or delete them in your browser and the site still works.
Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads. Google's privacy policy governs that connection.
How long I keep information
As long as I need it to serve you, and as long as Texas real estate recordkeeping rules, my brokerage's policies and tax law require. After that, I delete it or remove what identifies you.
Your choices
- Access and correction. Ask what I have about you, and have it corrected.
- Deletion. Ask me to delete it, except records I must keep.
- Follow-up. Ask me to stop contacting you at any time.
- Cookies. Block or clear them in your browser settings.
Texas residents may have additional rights under Texas law. I honor these requests wherever you live. Email amyherrera68@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request", or use the contact form. I may need to confirm your identity first.
Security
This site is served only over encrypted HTTPS, and access to submissions is limited to those who need it. No method is perfectly secure, but I take reasonable care to protect what you share.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information. If a child has submitted information, contact me and I will delete it.
Other websites
This site links to others, including the Texas Real Estate Commission and LinkedIn. Their own privacy practices apply, not this policy.
Changes
If I update this policy, I will post the new version here and change the effective date.
